Our Purple Prickly Pear Mango Butter Soap is one of our Southwest scents. Mango butter is obtained from the fruit seed of the Mangifera Indica (Mango Tree) native to the tropics. It is a soft solid butter high in stearic acid, with a natural slight sweet scent. It melts on contact with the skin. It is known to be very emollient helping the skin to retain moisture and it has a high oxidative ability. It is known to have UV radiation protective properties. It is wonderful to use in wound and burn healing products along with aiding in the reduction of scars. It has skin regenerative properties while restoring elasticity to the skin making it ideal for skin care formulations. We have also added poppy seeds to gently exfoliate your skin.
